The Lord of the Rings: War in the North – Legacy Edition is out now on PC, Switch, PS5, Xbox — released Tuesday, 11 August 2026.

The Lord of the Rings: War in the North – Legacy Edition is a remastered version of the 2011 action RPG originally developed by Snowblind Studios, originally delisted but now returning to modern platforms. Set in Middle-earth during the events of The Lord of the Rings, the game follows a party of custom heroes on a quest to stop an evil sorcerer's plans. This rerelease brings the game to PC, PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch, and Xbox for the first time in over a decade.
