Mewgenics is a tactical role-playing roguelike life simulation developed by Edmund McMillen and Tyler Glaiel in which players breed cats with assigned character classes and send them into procedurally-generated grid-based combat encounters. Originally announced in 2012 as a follow-up to Super Meat Boy before entering extended development, the game released on PC in February 2026 and arrives on Xbox Series X and Series S in September 2026 via publisher Nicalis.
