Final Fantasy XIV is a subscription-based massively multiplayer online role-playing game set in the fantasy region of Eorzea, where players help defend the land from the Garlean Empire following a catastrophic apocalypse. Originally released for PlayStation 3 and Windows in 2013, the game has since expanded to multiple platforms including PlayStation, macOS, Xbox Series X/S, and now Nintendo Switch. Directed and produced by Naoki Yoshida, Final Fantasy XIV is developed and published by Square Enix.
