Earth Defense Force 5 is the fifth main installment in the Earth Defense Force series, developed by Sandlot and published by D3 Publisher. Set in a new continuity where the Earth Defense Force operates as a private military corporation, the game depicts the organization's first deployment in 2022. Originally released for PlayStation 4, the game is coming to PC and PS5 in October 2026.
